Music Monday: Bastard Love Child of Rock n Roll

Ive been in Florida for the past week with a lot of the North Carolina guys for the DNA/KONA contest filming what I could. No waves. No girls. But still a ton of fun. While i was down here i ended up meeting BLORR and hung out with them for a little so i figured id put some of their music up. They will be used in an upcoming edit im sure.

So I just got back from St. Aug visiting Flagler College. School is nuts. Such a sick campus. Dont get me wrong they got some weird people there, but I saw some dimes as well. Edward leaves to NSB tomorrow to the Kona Pro and NSSA Regionals, hopefully he gets some good footage while he is down there and maybe he will grow some and swim out with his new in water housing. Just kidding they have been grown, I think. Anyway I am heading to Israel for two weeks in two weeks for my cousins wedding. Cant wait to surf over there and check some of the local spots out and meet some new people. Taking a camera down there so should be uploading some pics and footy while my jet lag keeps my eyes pried open. No lie, im pretty sure I might have just shit myself a little. A cat just jumped out of the bushes in my front yard as I am typing this on my front porch ( I dont own a cat ). Anyways here are a few pics from St. Augustine.

Senior Project blah blah bullshit

So my mentor, Nate Lee, just got back Australia couple days ago. Was getting nervous that he was gonna take a couple extra weeks and I was going to miss my deadlines for the product log ( shows how much I have been working on my video). I only needed 5 hours signed for tomorrow. Thanks to Nate and Ed this video is coming along pretty well, got a few new ideas from Nate today and I am really stoked to get this thing rolling again. Had an interesting past few days but hopefully everything will be fine. Here is a pretty sick edit he made of Benny B. and Gabe Kling.

The New Guy

Jacob here... So Edward decided he might want a little help with the blog, adding more content, stories, videos and such. So now being a part of the blog is going to help me with my constant procrastination with school work which really excites me. Like Edward mentioned before, I have been working on a short surf film coming out in early april. Really stoked so far and got a good group of guys helping me with some new editing techniques. Still working on thinking of the whole title/theme of the film, but hopefully that will come along as I finish interviewing the rest of the surfers. Had to get Shane Burn's and Max Smith's Interviews out of the way do to there "winter get-a-ways" to PR and HI. So to conclude this piece of crap article that I pulled out of my ass I would like to say happy birthday to our dear friend Squirrel ( Grayson Palmer), cant wait to rage with him this weekend.

A month without a camera has been hard but its been two cold to film anyway... Got a few edits coming out soon, Will Harris has got a skate edit coming out along with Zach Riggs, and another edit for evan coming out with all of his good clips from the last year combined with a lot of barbados and obx i never put out from late fall.

Jacob Laham, who has been learning how to do video stuff and a big contributor to the blog, has been getting help from film maker Nate Lee, who made Baggage a few years ago, and me for his senior project. His senior project follows some local surfers Max Smith, Shane Burns, and some others to places such as Barbados. Its less of a project more of a little movie. Its looking pretty good right now and it should (it has to) be up the first week of April.

But until then keep checking back for whats to come...
